Funeral Planning

Honoring the Life and Faith of Your Loved One
Mary, Mother of God Parish extends our deepest sympathy to you and your family during this time of loss. We are here to support you in planning a funeral that reflects the faith and life of your loved one, offering comfort and hope through the Church's liturgy.
Steps in Planning a Funeral
Confession of Sins: Confess your sins openly and honestly.
Receive Penance: The priest will assign a penance to help you make amends and grow in your spiritual life.
Select Readings and Music: Choose appropriate Scripture readings and hymns that reflect the life and faith of the deceased. Our clergy and music ministry can provide guidance in these selections.
Coordinate with Funeral Home: Work in conjunction with your chosen funeral home to ensure all logistical details are managed smoothly.
