Annulments & Tribunal Assistance

Guidance Through the Annulment Process

An annulment, or declaration of nullity, is a process by which the Catholic Church determines whether a marriage was valid according to Church law. This process allows individuals who have experienced divorce to seek clarity and, if appropriate, enter into a new marriage within the Church.

At Mary, Mother of God Parish, our priests and trained tribunal notaries are available to assist you through each step of the annulment process. They will help you understand the necessary documentation, guide you through the required interviews, and support you spiritually during this time.

For more information or to begin the annulment process, please contact one of our parish priests to discuss your situation. Additional resources and detailed information can be found on the Diocese of Peoria's Tribunal page.
