Faith formation doesn’t end with childhood. As adults, we are called to continue growing in our understanding of Scripture, Church teaching, and our personal relationship with Christ. At Mary, Mother of God Parish, we offer a variety of programs for adults at different stages of life and faith. Whether you're returning to the Church, exploring Catholicism for the first time, or looking to deepen your spiritual life, there is something here for you.
OCIA
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
We welcome all inquiries, no matter where you are on your spiritual path.
Formerly known as RCIA, OCIA is the process by which adults enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. This journey is open to those who are unbaptized, baptized in another Christian tradition, or baptized Catholic but never confirmed. Through a series of classes, rites, and sacraments, participants are guided toward becoming fully initiated members of the Church.
Bible Study
Our parish Bible study groups offer an opportunity to read and reflect on Sacred Scripture in a supportive, engaging environment. Groups meet regularly to explore the Bible in depth, often guided by trusted Catholic resources and video series. This is a wonderful way to grow in faith and fellowship.
That Man Is You
That Man Is You (TMIY) is a dynamic men’s program that combines the teachings of the Church with the latest findings of science and the wisdom of the saints. It addresses the pressures and challenges that men face in today’s culture and equips them with the tools to be better husbands, fathers, and disciples.
Weekly sessions include video content and small-group discussions.
Parish Missions
Each year, the parish hosts seasonal missions—special gatherings focused on renewal, prayer, and spiritual enrichment. These multi-night events include talks by visiting priests or speakers, opportunities for reconciliation, and community prayer. Missions are typically held during Advent or Lent and are open to all.
Formed.org
We offer free access to Formed.org, a digital platform with Catholic movies, documentaries, faith studies, audiobooks, and children’s programming. It’s a convenient way for parishioners to grow in faith from home. Visit the site and sign up using our parish code or email to get started.
